Hi, Iโ€™m Meg Callander, a sexologist, counselor, and facilitator dedicated to helping people explore their sexuality and relationships with curiosity, compassion, and authenticity.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

For many, struggles with sexuality and relationships arenโ€™t due to any internal deficit but are deeply rooted in the oppressive narratives weโ€™re taught to follow. Watching my clients break free from these constraints and uncover their own desires and self-understanding is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My professional background in Public Health, Health Promotion, and Youth Work has equipped me with a nuanced understanding of how sexual health is shaped by social systems, cultural influences, and systemic inequalities. This perspective informs my sessions, empowering clients to develop self-compassion and recognize that their struggles are often shaped by forces beyond their control.

At WellSpace Psychology, I support individuals and couples in addressing challenges, enhancing intimacy, and reconnecting with their bodiesโ€™ innate wisdom. My therapeutic approach has also been profoundly influenced by extensive training with the Institute of Somatic Sexology, where I studied sexological bodywork, embodied counseling, and supervision under the legendary Deej Juventin. These experiences reshaped how I understand sex and sex therapy, teaching me to trust the wisdom of the body. I truly believe that our bodies hold all the answers we needโ€”itโ€™s just a matter of learning to listen.

As a proud ADHDer, I credit my neurodiversity for the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm I bring to every session. These qualities allow me to think outside the box and connect with clients in ways that feel relatable and empowering.

Beyond the therapy room, Iโ€™ve collaborated with innovative brands and platforms, including Frenchie, Our Pilates, The Hook-Up, Fashion Journal, and universities. Iโ€™ve also shared my insights at events like Sydney WorldPride, co-hosting workshops on sexual health and pleasure. These experiences have fueled my passion for fostering open, inclusive conversations about sexuality and breaking down the stigma that so often surrounds it.

If youโ€™re ready to explore whatโ€™s possible for youโ€”whether thatโ€™s deepening a relationship, overcoming challenges, or connecting more fully with yourselfโ€”Iโ€™m here to walk beside you.

I facilitate the Dateability program, a transformative initiative for people funded by the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme). Through this program, I help participants build the skills, confidence, and emotional awareness they need to form and maintain romantic relationships. Seeing participants grow in self-assurance and navigate the world of dating with newfound clarity is deeply inspiring.
